Feed your dog according to age, weight, activity level, and environment. The feeding guide on the bag provides daily amounts based on your dog’s body weight, starting from small portions for toy and small breeds and increasing for medium and large breeds. For example, small dogs may require roughly ½ to 1½ cups per day, medium dogs around 1½ to 3 cups per day, and large dogs around 3 to 5+ cups per day depending on activity level. Puppies and pregnant or nursing dogs generally require more food, often 2–3 times the amount of adult maintenance depending on growth needs.
