About this item

Details

Health Extension Chunky Chicken Stew is a grain-free wet dog food in a chunky stew format made primarily with real chicken and chicken broth, combined with vegetables, eggs, legumes, and a vitamin-mineral blend. It is designed for all life stages and can be fed as a complete meal or a kibble topper. The texture is chunky, making it more “meaty stew-like” compared to pâté-style canned foods, and it focuses on hydration, digestion, and palatability.

Available at Patriot Pets & Supplies in Cape Coral, Florida.

Ingredient Information

Chicken broth, chicken, dried egg whites, carrots, potato starch, dried egg product, peas, guar gum, salt, sodium phosphate, flaxseed meal, potassium chloride, vitamins and minerals (vitamin E supplement, thiamine mononitrate, niacin supplement, D-calcium pantothenate, vitamin A supplement, riboflavin supplement, biotin, vitamin B12 supplement, pyridoxine hydrochloride, vitamin D3 supplement, folic acid), and trace minerals (zinc, iron, copper, manganese, selenium, iodine).

Feeding Instructions

Feed according to your dog’s weight, age, activity level, and environment. As a general guideline, this food can be fed as a complete diet or used as a topper mixed with dry food. Adult dogs typically require about 1¼ to 1½ cans per 15 lb of body weight per day, adjusted depending on activity level, metabolism, and whether it is used as a full meal or supplement. Puppies generally require up to twice the adult amount, divided into multiple meals per day. Pregnant or nursing dogs may also need increased portions to maintain body condition. Serve at room temperature for best palatability, refrigerate any unused portion after opening, and always provide fresh drinking water. Transition gradually over 5–7 days when introducing this food to avoid digestive upset.
