Feeding Instructions

Feed according to your dog’s age, weight, activity level, and environment. For adult dogs, the general guideline is about 3–4 cups per 15 lb of body weight per day, adjusting up or down depending on activity level and metabolism. Puppies require significantly more food: up to as much as they will eat when very young (up to 11 weeks), then about 2¼ cups per 5 lb body weight (11–26 weeks), and 1½–1¾ cups per 5 lb body weight (26–52 weeks), divided into multiple meals per day. The amount should always be adjusted based on body condition. Feed at room temperature, refrigerate unused portions, and ensure fresh water is always available.
